I live in Costessey, which is roughly about 5 miles from
Norwich, in the heart of
Norfolk in East Anglia, England.
Norwich is a popular tourist destination and is home to
it's Cathedrals -
St John's
Cathedral and the Anglican
Cathedral - and the University of East
Anglia. There is also a
Sporstpark at the UEA and the
Sainsbury
Centre.
Norwich's Millennium project is called
The Forum, located in
the centre of the city, which houses a library, tourist information, many
cafes plus the Origins attraction. Nearby to The Forum, is the city's new
Chapelfield shopping mall, this
compliments Norwich's other retail centre
The Castle Mall.
Norwich has several cinemas located not far from the city
centre. They are Cinema City,
Hollywood Cinema,
Odeon Cinema and
Vue Cinema. I visit the
cinema regulary, especially Vue which is my favourite. Please visit my
Films page to check out my taste in cinema.
Norwich has several theatres including the renowned
Maddermarket Theatre, the famous
Puppet Theatre and the acclaimed
Playhouse.
Please visit my Theatre page to see what local
shows I have seen recently.
Norwich and the surrounding Norfolk countryside are very
pretty and Walking through it is one of major
hobbies.
The BBC has set up
Norfolk Online which covers all the entertainment and news for my home
county - I would recommend this site to you.
