I was lucky enough to meet Tom Baker, the Fourth
Doctor and also one of my favourite actors,
in November 2007.
I arrived at The Television & Movie Store in
Norwich at 8.15am, in readiness of the
shop opening at 9.00am. I was the third person in the queue, following a
couple who had been waiting since 5.00am.
The shop opened at 9.00am as planned and I soon met
my favourite Doctor Who. I chatted to Tom Baker for about 5 minutes
about the show, plus he signed some prints, DVD covers, and also my
Doctor Who: The Legend book. Tom was very chatty and interesting, he was
keen to know about all the other signatures in the book and commented on
them. I told Tom that he was my favourite Doctor, and this was something
he was pleased to hear.
I had several photos taken with Tom Baker at the
store, which can now be seen in my Gallery.
In the store there was also a Black Dalek lurking around, plus the
Tardis, which appeared mysteriously as much as it left.
