In September 2008, I returned to The Television &
Movie Store in Norwich to meet another classic Doctor Who star. This
time I met Deborah Watling, better known as Victora Waterfield, who was
one of The Second Doctor's
companions.
When I got to The Television & Movie Store I was
fortunate to be one of the first near the front of the queue, so I did
not have too long to wait and see her. We had a good chat for a
few minutes and I mentioned we met 2 years earlier at the
Dalek Dinner and the
Dalek Invasion of Holt. Deborah remembered seeing me
at the Dinner as we were lucky enough to share the same (top) table
there. I mentioned to the star that I had been a fan of the show for many years,
and this had resulted in me owning several stories on
DVD and video, some of which included her in her most famous role to
date.
In the store Deborah signed a print of herself, plus
my Doctor Who: The Legend hardback, and my Tomb Of The Cybermen and Lost In Time DVD covers.

At the event, the voice of K9, actor
John Leeson was also in the store.
