GENESIS OF THE DALEKS DVD CELEBRATION - NORWICH PUPPET THEATRE - APRIL 9TH 2006

In April 2006 I was lucky enough to meet Elisabeth Sladen at an event at Norwich Puppet Theatre. Other people at this exciting event were Paul Parsons, who has written a book on the science of the show, Peter Sowerbutts, who has starred in Doctor Who audio dramas, and finally, Terry Molloy, well-known for playing Davros, the creator and leader of the Daleks during the 1980s.

This event was organised to celebrate the release of Genesis Of The Daleks on DVD. This classic story features Tom Baker as The Doctor and Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. In the story we first meet Davros, the creator of the Daleks, as played by original actor Michael Wisher. This classic story was voted the best in a poll in Doctor Who Magazine, it is also included in my top stories of all time too.

If you visit visit my Gallery you can see photos of the event plus myself with the stars, K9 and some Daleks. At the event I got all the star's autographs and chatted to them all. I particularly enjoyed chatting to Elisabeth Sladen. I said to Elisabeth that I had watched the show for many years and I was looking forward to seeing her character of Sarah Jane Smith feature in the 2006 episode called School Reunion.
